Spring Break in Hawaii!

A little snorkeling in the beautiful pool
at the Waiohai on Kaua'i's south shore...
...lots of rest and relaxation...
..pool time all the time...
..except, of course, when it was beach time!!
..lots of rock and shell collecting on Poipu Beach.
A gorgeous view of Waimea Canyon on
our three mile hike in...
..to a little pool above Waipo'o Falls.
We paused for a few minutes on the little falls above
the 800 foot drop off.
(good thing we stopped at the top -
this is just before Kimbel slipped over the edge.)
The falls don't look to ominous in this pic,
but this puts it all in perspective!
We hiked in to the little shelf in between the two falls.
After that experience all of our waterfalls were viewed safely from the walkway that we could drive to... behind the safety rail!
This is Wailua Falls.
.. we spent a little too much time in the sun
and some of us wished we were mermaids!!
Madison and Kelly got in a little snorkeling time
(but not nearly enough!)
