The big K.

Okay, so I have to admit that I have been a little sad knowing my "baby" is 5 and it's time to send him to kindergarten. Braden is my little lunch, costco, shopping, cleaning buddy and I haven't really wanted to let this one go!

So, today I was one of those moms who stood a little too long in the hall and then went to the car and cried. Yup, really. Then I got over it and went to get a pedicure with Maurie. (good idea, girl!)

He was a little nervous but walked right in and didn't look back!

So, I waited patiently outside at 3:15pm waiting for Braden's class to emerge.

He finally came out, gave me a kiss, and summed it all up,

"Mom, my first day at kindergarten was a piece of cake!"

I am so glad... we will try this again tomorrow.

Summer is so gone... ugh.

So, on Wednesday we made a quick decision to get up and head to Lagoon.

Good choice!

We headed over to Lagoona Beach when it got warm... and enjoyed the lazy river.

It was NOT so lazy when Braden pushed me under the waterfall, however. brrr.

Loved the day, the kids, the sun. Good times.

I am so sad to see another summer come to an end...

Oh well, school year, here we come...

After 20 hours of try-outs last week and a VERY long weekend...

Madison found out this morning that she made the new Stansbury High soccer team! She worked so hard - we are so proud of you, Mad!!

Go ReAL!!

Saturday night Madison, Makenna and I headed into the Salt Lake ReAL game!

Fun! We had great seats and it was a gorgeous summer evening!

Good times.

Kenna was in it for the cotton candy -- way more than the soccer!

It turned out to be a nail-biter! The ReAl beat Seattle 1-0!
