My lil' valentines!

We LOVE our Aunt Niccole!  She is THE BEST!!  Today she made the cutest valentines with the kids ... JUST BECAUSE!  Here is a shout out to you, Auntie Nicc!!!

While I was away...

Makenna had a crash on the basketball court with another girl and she was on the losing end.  Her chin has lots of stitches and Kel tells me it looks "MUCH BETTER" than it did after it happened.  Ouch.  So glad I wasn't the one to hold her while they stitched it up.  Makes my stomach hurt just looking at it (that is why I thought I should share it with you!)  Ick.

Okay ~ I know you have all been biting your nails ~ just waiting for a glimpse of my trip to Switzerland to see Shir!!  Right?!?

  Okay, okay, here are some of my favorites...

Some pics from Chamonix ~ a small ski town in Eastern France - we traveled up there on Saturday - before Dave headed back to Houston.  GORGEOUS.  We found out that it was the sight of the 1924 Olympic Games.  It was breathtaking.  

This is a picture of the lake from Shirlee's little town of Genthod, Switzerland.  This was the most clear morning I was there.  You could see clear across the lake.  Shir sees this view EVERY time she leaves her house!

You know me - I LOVE chocolate!  I couldn't resist looking like silly American and taking a picture of the chocolate aisle in the supermarket.  Yummy.

This cute chipmunk sits right on the corner of Shirlee's little village.  Not sure why or what his name is ~ but he reminds me of Gentoad.  I like him..

Me and Maya hanging at the Chateau de Chillon.  We took a drive around the Lake and the Chateau (translated big, old castle) is on the shore with a gorgeous view of the alps.  Amazing to be there and imagine it hundreds of years ago.  Shir and I decided we wouldn't want to be princesses ~ TOO COLD!!  Here is another picture of it... off their website.

Au revoir to Shir and Maya ~  I miss you so much already.  PLEASE take care of you, Shir, and THANK YOU!  Thanks for letting me experience some of Switzerland and France with you.  Thanks for having me and I can't wait to take that mind-melting flight again!  I love you guys!!
