go stallions!

Well, I obviously haven't posted since school started three weeks ago. It's because we have been running!  From Madison's volleyball/being a senior, to Kenna's ballet, jazz, competition team, to Kimbel's piano, soccer and orchestra, and don't forget Braden's scouts and church, work and DINNER!!

I LOVE IT ALL!!
(okay, except making the dinner part...)
and toooo much time in my car...
but moments like this make it all worth every minute. :)

I LOVE MY KIDDOS AND BEING A MOM!!

powell. lake powell.

We decided to send summer out with a bang!!
We joined some amazing friends, the Dimonds in Lake Powell for the weekend and LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!

Within 5 minutes of arriving we were in the water.

Home sweet home.

Kimbel and Braden braved the tubes first and drank lots of water because their smiles were so big!!

Madison and Kenna followed with a little crazier ride!! :)

We boated to "Forgotten Canyon" and hiked up to the Indian ruins.  Amazing.

Braden loved it down in the "hut".
It was probably 20 degrees cooler down there!

Good times.

One of the late night fishing trips - and the champions!!
Madison, Kelly, Chase, Ashlee, Ashley, Brian, Paige and Boone.

Lazy summer days = happiness.

Some of the more artistic ways to cool off!

One more fishing trip early on our last day.

Madison became an expert netter on this trip...

We were so sad to pull away on Saturday night - but so grateful we went!!
AMAZING FRIENDS.
WONDERFUL MEMORIES.
WE WILL BE BACK...

Summer fun.
Enough said.

sunshine. in park city.

We had a couple weeks between Trek and Girls Camp..
and Kelly had a couple days in between jobs...
So...
We went to Park City, of course!!

Madison and I tried out - and LOVED -
the ZipRider!
WHHEEEEEE!!!

And Braden photo-bombed the nice family portrait.
Hey... when you are the only brother....
 ok.

 After the Alpine Slide,
the Alpine Coaster
and the Zip Rider...
We were hungry!

We ended the perfect family day with YUMMY pizza and slept all the way home!

taste of trek.

Thought I'd share a few pics
from our Trek weekend.

June 7-9 in Skull Valley.

 Kelly aka IceMan
(he was VERY popular.)

Madison was a "ma" for her family -
here are her girls during the "women's pull".
It made me cry.

The girls on day 2 -
after Madison was caught in the dirt devil.

It took A LOT of water to keep 600 people happy and hydrated.

ONE of the THREE companies pulling out on day 2.
It made me cry.

Yup.  A very important part of the plan. :)

Almost to camp on day 2.
Happiness.

 Lookout Pass on day 3.
Rest and lunch after a hard pull to the top.
It made me cry.

A view of our camp on the morning of day 3.
Pretty amazing.

Gathering at the top of Lookout Pass.
It made me cry.

Honestly, the whole weekend was pretty incredible.
We spent hours organizing, praying, and preparing.
Trek came.
We went.
We were amazed.

The 485 youth were incredible.
They surprised us with their strength and determination.
33 miles of hard.
And they did it singing and (mostly) smiling.

I was humbled to be there and strengthened, too.
